Images I Like Eating... Don't You?

Isn't it so annoying when you are hungry and there is this particular dish you are craving  Then when you finally get it, someone comes with a bible and opens to the book of Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4 "But He (Jesus) answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone..." OMG it is so annoying. When i was younger, hearing this verse made me eat less and read my bible more, and it affected me badly because i was malnourished and i really didn't understand what i was reading from the bible.

So I'm going to tell you why you should eat.


Matthew 4:4 "...Man shall not live by bread ALONE but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"
Notice the word ALONE!!! this means that Man(You and I) should live by bread. That means we should eat to our satisfaction but in as much as we eat physical food let us not neglect the word of God. Let as also read the word of God to our satisfaction

Psalm 81:10 "I am the lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, Open your mouth and I will feed you" (Good News Bible)
IKings 19: 5 "He lay down under the tree and fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him and said, "Wake up and eat.""
1Kings 19: 7 "The LORD's angel returned and woke him up a second time, saying, "Get up and eat"..."

So we see that even God wants us to eat and to be well fed. That was why he sent the angel the second time to Elijah to instruct him to eat (1Kings19:7)

Luke 22: 8 Jesus sent Peter and John with these instructions: "Go and get the Passover meal ready for us to eat." In my own opinion, even Jesus likes food, so why shouldn't I
Luke 22: 14  "You will eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and you will sit on thrones..." Well these are scriptures from the bible, i really cant say much.

Act 2:46  "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart"
So after Jesus ate the last supper with the disciples, the continued it "daily" it was not a once in a while affair, they were always eating.

Now my final point

Ecclesiastes 8:15

 So I am convinced that we should enjoy ourselves, because the only pleasure we have in this life is eating and drinking and enjoying ourselves... (Good News Bible)

Then I commended enjoyment, because a man has no better thing under the sun [without God] than to eat and to drink and to be joyful...  (AMP)

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry...  (KJV)

This was the wisest man to ever walk the earth speaking (Solomon) and his recommendation was to eat drink and be happy, because there is nothing better to do under the sun.

Therefor if anyone tries to talk you out of eating well, tell them

1. God wants me to eat IKings 19:7
2. Jesus ate Luke 22:8
3. The disciples ate "daily" Acts 2: 46
4. Solomon recommended eating Ecc 8:15
