  I recently watched all the parts in the harry potter series,again,for like the 5th time in my life, from part 1(philosophers stone) to part 7b(Deathly hallows pt2).Yeah right,condemn me o,you pharisee.lol.Well it would interest you to know that I was watching it for divine inspiration(omg,I just lied.lol). Well I came across some words;magic spells as it were that got me thinking eg avada kavadra,expelliamos,expectro patrotum,recontato etc.Now some one may be thinking, omg, prophet has become a wizard!!! Just you hold that thought for a moment. One spell

that really caught my ear was dia gon ally. Why it caught my ear was because if you join the three words together, you get an english word-diagonally. Now you may be wondering why am I saying all this.Well its very simple,I said all that just to catch your attention. Now that I have it,lemme go straight to the point.
Now lemme get to my point,the word adiaphora isnt a magic spell.Its actually a theological term that isnt found in most english dictionaries. Its a phenomema in which the bible is neutral or somewhat silent on a particular matter, but leaves signs as to what God thinks on that particular matter.It also means things neither commanded nor forbidden in scripture.(Note the subject of adiaphora is larger than this,but I wanna major on but few).Lemme explain further with examples;
1)Gambling-The bible doesnt specifically address the issue with the words 'gamble', but it sure aint silent because somewhere in proverbs, it says 'wealth gotten quickly takes the life of the owner'.So all you folks who think God will somehow bless you through the lottery,you are far from it.The one that pisses me off is the group that says Lord, if you can do this for me, I will sow into your kingdom.Kai,you stupid o.So you have now brought God down to the plane of money.Errrm, he dont need your money.
2)Where to work-You have 2 job opportunities; Chevron or your own barbing salon. Now lets weigh the pros and cons of both.

Chevron-
Pros
At least 5 million naira annual salary.
Personal Car.
Furnished house.etc
Cons
You can attend church only once a month because you have to work offshore.

Barbing salon-
Cons
At most 500,000 naira per annum income.
Personal bicycle.
Rent.
Pros
Your church is just beside your house.

Now of course there are a lot more factors in play but I just wanted to make my point.
So in this kind of case, what would you do? You answer for yourself.


3)who to marry-
You have set a target in your heart, Lord Im going to marry a sister in the choir whose name starts with N and ends with I. Then you see two beautiful sisters in the choir and you make inquiries, then you are hit with the news,one is called Ngozi,the other is Nkechi.Haba.Which one will you now pick.
Or you are a sister and you say lord gimme a brother whose name is in the bible. Then you see 3 brothers,samuel,samson and psalm. What do you now do.
Very simple check the bible to see the criteria God sets to help you pick a man or woman. Or you can read previous articles on the blog.*winks*

Others are smoking,masturbation etc.

Learn to live your life by the word;Its worth it.Know the bible for yourself and dont depend upon another man for revelation, Let God himself guide you. So the pattern is this,you learn the word from a "man of God" for a while, then you break free from him and stand on your own because God wants to speak to you directly.He doesnt want you depending on someone for your nourishment but on Him directly.Jah bless.
