Today, I'll be talking briefly about UNDERSTANDING THE MYSTERY OF EWA-G.
Now Just in case you are wondering what ewa-g is, let me educate you. Ewa-g(pronounced ehwa-jee) ,short for ewa-agoin,is a mystically mysterious meal eaten in many places especially covenant
university. Its ingredients are beans, oil stew and of course, the reknown N25 bread. But this is not just your everyday beans.
No. Theres something about this one that has made it to become one of the most sought after meals of the year in canaanland. It has only one outlet in canaanland and yet by 10 am, you can literally see a queue of people, waiting for the lady to show up so that these hungry group, made up of the old and young, rich and poor, fat and slim, beautiful and not so fine , and finally the endowed and not so priviledged, can get their hands on this ridiculously looking meal. So finally, I decided to try a meal. I went by 12: 30 to the cafetaria so as to avoid the queue and I bought bread for N100, beans for N100, 1 fish for N50, 1 pomo for N50 and 1 egg for N50. Not to forget the N50 pack. I walked briskly to my room,no-one was around. Yes duh. I stabbed class that day for the sake of ewa-g. I sat down, said a prayer, put a piece of bread in my mouth and some ewa-g. Then I put another one, then another, and other and before I knew it the meal was exhausted. Then came that dreaded feeling;MORE. But as I tried to stand up, I realized I was full. Dear Lord Jesus, its a fire. I said Ok, let me continue reading my book, dear God!.I couldn't. I was feeling sleepy. So I slept, only to wake up the following morning by 5 am. Impossible. What had happened. I normally dont sleep for this long. Now I wanted more. So I stepped out to find out what was it that made me want more Ewa-g.
The word of God for some folks is very boring. You go to a church and what do you find;the services are not planned, and even those that might be planned have people attending to their roles without enthusiasm. That is why we have youths who are more willing to go to night parties and listen to Davido and whizkid(who are rascals by the way) rather than go to church. This is not necessarily an article to portray what we as leaders have done or have not done. But this is rather a charge for us to up our input into the gospel. We should do more to give the church of the Lord Jesus Christ a beter representation outside the four walls of the church. If you go out to preach, look good, dress well. Even if its only one shirt you have iron it well. Because you see man looks at the outward appearance. So when you go to preach to someone and you are looking scruffy, he might not want to follow you to see your Jesus because he has already seen the Jesus on you.And he doesn't like what he sees. I used to think that this wasn't important some years ago, but the Lord taught me differently a few months ago. I believe that if we are doing something for God we should give Him the best. Not only so that people can come back for more, like my ewa-g, but also because He deserves the best. SELAH

this is just awesome. i am so blessed by this. when i was reading this article, i thought it was written by Inioluwa but then i read carefully and the grammatical structures were so plain and error free then i realized it could never have been Inioluwa. Thnks Samuel
