Images BE SPIRITUAL AND FUN

       Hello everybody, my name is Rejoice. I'm writing to you on being spiritual and fun...the first point I'll like to make is that, the fact that you are spiritual doesn't mean that you cant relate with other people around you! people have feelings, they like to have someone to talk to and someone to be around them.it makes them very happy. some Christians just make Christianity seem so boring and difficult, but really, its not boring or difficult, its a very interesting and easy life and everything just works out for you..I have a cousin that I cant relate with to today, because, he is too serious! he doesn't joke about anything, he just overdoes everything! and that is why people think that Christians are hypocrites! come on! even the Holy Spirit jokes with me! He tells me things that make me smile, He makes the word of God interesting to me.
       last week ,I was talking to a boy about giving his life to Christ and he was telling me a lot about Christianity and he mentioned the same thing about Christians being hypocrites and it hurt me on the inside. sincerely, I know people that will never have convinced me to give my life to Christ! its that annoying! seriously, everybody likes to be with someone that can make them smile, make them laugh, make them talk and just be free. I don't believe that there is such a thing as being 'too spiritual' because life itself is spiritual and you have to handle it with wisdom, but I think that at least, you can be spiritual AND fun! it doesn't kill and it doesn't take away the fact that you are born again. you can talk about football or fashion or experiences or your family, or things that make sense. the point is spend more time talking about and doing spiritual things.
       Christianity is about knowing how to balance your life all round, its not just focusing on one thing. don't make other people feel like unbelievers because you know God, instead, make them feel good, make them want to be like you, let your life be an example to others! have a social life! in fact, I think that if you don't know how to relate with people, then you don't know how to win souls! because, when you approach people and just start saying; give your life to Christ! repent! speak in tongues! Jesus is Lord and all that, people tend to with-draw. I like to start everything as a friendship and just meet you and get to know you, talk to you about stuff and just chip in  everything I can about God and the Holy Spirit always takes charge from there.
       Pastor Yonggi Cho wrote in His book, that at a point in his life, he was having issues with his wife, because he wasn't spending time with her and his mother in-law sat him down and spoke 2 him about it and he changed and he discovered that he needed to also talk to the Holy Spirit more.so he decided to take a day off and spend it with his wife and spend the rest of the week with the Holy Spirit but at least it made his wife happy! so the bottom line of all this is; be friendly, its ok to make friends and get to know people, relate with your friends, talk to them about stuff. SMILE!!it makes people want to talk to you, it makes people think you are happy(even if you are not),and it can be a good way to start talking to someone about Jesus. tell a joke from time to time, it really doesn't kill and it won't take you away from Jesus(I promise, let it be a reasonable joke)but most of all always remember to talk about Jesus and do His will above anything else!!have a blessed week!!
